Abstract
This article introduces four key innovations incorporated in recently developed Parkinson's disease allied healthcare guidelines and reflects on their implications for guideline development and implementation. These innovations address limitations of previous guidelines, which have contributed to their limited uptake in clinical practice. The four advances include: (1) a multidisciplinary scope; (2) a decision support tool as the central product; (3) accessibility for both clinicians and people with Parkinson's disease; and (4) dynamic, continuous updates. Together these advances aim to improve care coordination, support personalized shared decision-making, and ensure timely access to current evidence - providing a scalable model for guideline development and implementation in complex health conditions.
